Cypress closed this facility in Round Rock in late 2008. The space is 99K SF with 40K SF of clean room space. Some have speculated the facility could be re-purposed for solar cell production (Cypress did produce this for a brief period here) or possibly as a medical device or pharmaceutical production facility. The facility is also near several new college and university campuses: Texas A&M's Medical School, Texas State's Round Rock campus, and a new Austin Community College Campus.
