.In early 2008, Trammell Crow bought 40 acres at the SW corner of Stassney and Burlesson in SE Austin and is developing plans to build out a business park to help incubate clean energy technology companies. Monies granted by the State Legislature will have helped to fund an exective position to spearhead the workings of the incubator. The park will consist of 12 buildings totaling 1M SF. The neighboring business park, Expo Center, is also controlled by Trammell Crow and already houses HelioVolt, a next generation solar plant. Including the Expo Center, the Texas Clean Energy Park will encompass 140 acres.
